A heinous undermining of sporting integrity
May 6, 2008
According to this morning’s Daily Record, the SPL are going to capitulate to Rangers’ demands and extend the season to accommodate the fixture pile-up that the team themselves are responsible for.
Apparently, the SFA - headed by former Rangers player Gordon Smith - are putting pressure on the SPL to cancel this weekend’s Rangers vs Hearts match as they themselves have agreed to move the Scottish Cup Final back a week to make this possible.
As a Celtic fan, I find this an unbelievable abuse of power by those who have a vested interest in seeing their favoured team succeed at all costs. Furthermore, given that my father is flying back from Australia for the Scottish Cup Final, this actually means that he might be staying in my house for a week longer than originally planned.
It’s a bloody outrage.

That’s what you get for poaching Scott Brown. Among others.

Very impressed that you’ve actually done a real blog. And you’ve even done something that makes the font I am typing in different (I like it). And did you really put a picture in? You’ve done this before.
No idea what you’re so worked up about though because i know nothing about football. But do understand the bit about your dad. An outrage, as you say.
